Epoxy Resins in Coatings and Composites
Bisphenol-A epoxy resins (BADGE-type) are the most widely used epoxy resins globally, offering an unmatched combination of adhesion, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength when cured with appropriate hardeners. Liquid epoxy resins (EEW ~185–195) are used in coatings and adhesives, while solid grades are used in powder coatings and high-Tg casting systems. Terracore supplies standard liquid and solid grades as well as low-viscosity reactive diluent blends.
Grades and Hardener Compatibility
Our liquid epoxy resin (DER 331 equivalent) is compatible with amine, polyamide, anhydride, and phenolic hardeners. Terracore also stocks epoxy hardeners (see DETA, TETA, and m-Xylylenediamine) for complete system supply. Resin is supplied in 20 L pails, 200 L drums, and IBC totes. COA reports EEW, viscosity, colour, and hydrolysable chlorine.
