About the 19-6-20 PLUS Blend

The 19-6-20 PLUS NPK blend is formulated for the growth and transition phase of crop production, where both nitrogen and potassium demands are high. With 19% N and 20% K₂O, it provides a near-equal N:K ratio that supports continued vegetative growth while beginning to build potassium reserves in developing fruit. The 6% P₂O₅ maintains ongoing phosphorus supply without the high P levels used in the establishment phase. The PLUS micronutrient package supports enzyme function and metabolic processes during active growth.

Application in Crop Programs

The 19-6-20 blend is used in the mid-season period, typically from active canopy development through to early fruit set. In tomato programs, it runs from transplant establishment through to first fruit colour. In cucumber and pepper production, it is used as the main growth-phase fertilizer throughout. It is often run in combination with calcium nitrate to maintain calcium levels during rapid vegetative growth. The blend is a practical all-round option for growers who prefer fewer grade changes across the season.
