Butyl Acetate in Coatings and Adhesives
Butyl acetate is one of the most important ester solvents in the coatings industry. Its moderate evaporation rate, high solvency for resins and polymers, and relatively pleasant odor profile make it ideal for automotive lacquers, wood coatings, and industrial adhesives.
