Potassium Chloride in Agriculture and Industry
Potassium chloride (KCl), commonly known as muriate of potash, is the most widely used potassic fertiliser worldwide, supplying the potassium macronutrient essential for plant growth, disease resistance, and water regulation. In water treatment, KCl pellets regenerate ion-exchange resin in softening units as an alternative to sodium chloride, producing softened water with lower sodium content. Pharmaceutical-grade KCl is an essential electrolyte in intravenous fluid formulations and oral rehydration salts.

Terracore supplies standard granular MOP (agricultural grade), fine powder, and pharmaceutical-grade KCl. Material is packed in 25 kg bags or 1,000 kg bulk bags. COA includes purity (argentometric or ICP), sodium content, and moisture. The product is non-hazardous under transport regulations. SDS is available.
