What Are TCCA Tablets?

TCCA 200 g tablets are compressed forms of trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) — the same 90% available chlorine compound as TCCA granules, but formulated into slowly dissolving large tablets for use in floating tablet dispensers, skimmer baskets, or tablet chlorinator feeders. The large tablet size and compressed format provide a very slow, controlled dissolution rate (typically 7–14 days per 200 g tablet, depending on water flow, temperature, and pH), releasing a small but consistent amount of available chlorine and cyanuric acid stabiliser to the pool water continuously. This slow-release mechanism allows pool owners to maintain disinfection residual with infrequent attention to chlorinator replenishment.

Pool and Spa Sanitiser Delivery System
