What is Potassium Iodate?

Potassium Iodate (KIO₃) is the preferred feed-grade iodine supplement due to its superior stability compared to Potassium Iodide (KI), which is prone to oxidative loss of iodine under humid conditions and in the presence of other mineral salts in premixes.
